Self taught artist whose excursions often delve in numerical series, exploring repetition and layering of primitive portraits, tropical forms and organic abstractions. Working either in raw black and white or in a kaleidoscope of colour, her painting process is often spontaneous and primordially hypnagogic, referencing either her native Latin American ancestry or a certain African naïvety, experienced through her travels and past memories.
